Tienchi Ginseng

Tienchi Ginseng is sometimes confused with Panax Ginseng. It is a close relative of Panax Ginseng but while Red Panax Ginseng is usually associated with male, Yang energy, Tienchi Ginseng is considered neutral (some consider it Yin). Tienchi Ginseng is a potent herb on its own and is known to be helpful in treating many ailments. However, it should not be confused with Red Panax Ginseng.

Tienchi ginseng is mostly used for aiding in blood-related problems. These include any blood mixed in any type of bodily fluids. It also helps speed recovery from bruising and other injuries where increased circulation is helpful. Unlike the red panax variety, tienchi ginseng does not increase energy levels significantly. Instead, it is used as an aid to speed up recovery from any traumatic injury to the body including surgery. It is also known to lower blood pressure, anxiety and swelling.

In addition, it does not come in the form of a liquid extract like panax ginseng. Tienchi Ginseng is only available as a powder or as sliced roots (sometimes cooked).
